Launch Pad
Mediaset Page is useless for me and I whish to turn it into a layer launchpad with these functions: selection, flash activation and toggle activation for the 10 layers of M8.
Considering the button on bottom left as Nr 1
9 to 13 could select layers A1 to A5
17 to 21 could flash activate these layers
25 to 29 could toggle activate these layers
41 to 45 could select layers B1 to B5
49 to 53 could flash activate these layers
57 à 61 could toggle activate these layers14 to 16 could be use to switch the blending… more

Greater, Bigger (more layers) Sequencer for 128, 256
Just to add more variety, possible 13 layers for the 128 (rotated) and 29 for the 256?

Button press quantize! + pattern recorder (ala MLR) + two button loop on mlr page. Merci!!
These are the basic things that make the audio mlr so great to work with! Atleast add the button press quantize for us handicapped people with no timing! :)

a method for editing layer set group while it is hidden
Very often a composition is created in another layerset group in preparation for a future change in the music. I have to do this using the mouse and the truth is the less I have to mess around with a mouse the less reactive my performance.
If there is a way to toggle/switch over to setting media to layers in the hidden group then I don't have to use the mouse at all to create the new composition.
It would take some getting used to, but once learned it would be a highly efficient use of the controller.

BPM fader (with interpolation)
Should be great to have a fader (on the monome) to slightly change the BPM.

In/out points are not accurate in Modul8 !

Overriding sound in Modul8
Sound rendering in Modul8 is not accurate !
Rendering sound with a new library is done but need more work when changing media : not activated in Monomal for the moment ...1 vote -

Settings for the pages
Because the number of page is growing, Monomal needs a settings for the pages. Indeed, it 'd allows the user to choose which pages he wanna use.

New page : layer/layerset/mediaset selector

Set it so that changing layer focus is on the top left section, media set selection on the right using the 16 pads and then layer sets just below.
